1. Service Description
PaperHub is a platform that connects students with participating print stores. Students can upload documents, choose a store, pay online, and collect their printed documents at the chosen store. Printing and handover of documents are performed by independent store partners, not by PaperHub directly.
2. User Responsibilities
- Ensure that all uploaded documents are accurate, complete, and in PDF format.
- Do not upload content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, infringing, or violates any third-party rights.
- Collect your prints promptly and present the correct pickup code at the store.
- Keep your registration details and device secure and do not share your account with others.
3. Store Responsibilities
Store partners are responsible for printing documents to a reasonable quality, handling documents securely, and releasing them only on successful validation of the pickup code. Any disputes about print quality or delays should first be raised with the store; PaperHub may assist but does not guarantee resolution.
4. Payments & Refunds
- Payments are processed via third‑party payment gateways. PaperHub does not store full card details.
- Once a print job has started, amounts paid are generally non‑refundable.
- For failed payments that are debited from your bank but not reflected in PaperHub, resolutions are handled as per the payment gateway and bank policies.
5. Availability & Changes
PaperHub may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time to improve features, address security, or comply with regulations. We may update these terms periodically; continued use of the service after updates means you accept the revised terms.
6. Limitation of Liability
PaperHub and HowNik Technologies are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or missed deadlines, arising from use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount paid for the affected order.

Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
- Basic profile details such as name, registration number, phone number, and email.
- Order details including selected store, document metadata (file name, number of pages, print settings), and timestamps.
- Payment status information from our payment gateway (order IDs, success or failure, and masked references).
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage print orders and route them to the selected store.
- To contact you regarding order status, issues, or support.
- To monitor usage and improve reliability, security, and user experience.
- To comply with legal obligations and prevent misuse or fraud.
3. Document Handling
Uploaded PDFs are stored securely on our servers and are only accessible to the selected store for the purpose of printing your order. Files are automatically deleted after a limited retention period or after an order is marked as collected, whichever is earlier, as implemented in the backend cleanup process.
4. Data Sharing
We share necessary information with:
- Store partners, so they can fulfil your order (document, print settings, and pickup code).
- Payment gateways, for processing online payments.
- Service providers for infrastructure, logging, or analytics, only as needed to operate the platform.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect data in transit and at rest. However, no system is completely secure, and users should avoid uploading highly sensitive documents unless necessary.
6. Data Retention
Order and account metadata may be retained for audit, analytics, and legal compliance. Uploaded files are retained only for as long as required to complete the print job and are then removed automatically.
